How do you plan an intercity patient transfer?

For intercity ambulance transfers within Turkey, once you share the planned date and time, the patient’s clinical status and the destination address with us, we plan the route, assign the right crew and arrange companion seating. We then share the plan for your approval and keep you updated as the transfer date approaches.

Can a companion travel in the ambulance?

If the patient’s condition allows, we can safely take one companion in the ambulance. They need to remain seated with a seat belt on and follow the medical team’s instructions. For transfers linked to a flight, our team also helps organise the companion’s travel.

How is the price calculated?

Accepted Answer

Our price is based on a call-out fee, the distance to be covered and any additional services you request, such as extra equipment, medical staff or ferry/toll costs. Before we share a quote, we agree on the payment steps with you; typically a deposit is taken when you approve the offer, the remaining balance is collected at departure and we issue your invoice to close the process. Every cost item is shared with you in writing before you give approval.

Which documents are required?

In most cases we just need the patient’s ID details, information about the receiving facility and current medical reports. For international transfers, our operations team also guides you on additional documents such as passports, flight clearances and any consular letters that may be required.
